![]() ![]() Thanks! Miss you all (if anyone I know is even around anymore) Just received that same error message.Īny advice? I need to be able to play my games! I ran the DOG installer on compatibility mode for Windows 98/ME, installed to a folder of my creation, and then attempted to run the game in compatibility mode as well. I thought that maybe I just needed to reinstall, so I tried that. I had all the games installed using all the different tricks: compatibility mode, using a folder created prior to installation, etc. Game shutting down." Not exactly what I had in mind. ![]() Everything went smoothly, but when I went to play some of my older games (I didn't test them all, but DED worked while DOG did not) I was met with a white screen and an error message reading "InitDirectDraw - we're sorry - your system cannot play the correct display mode for this game. I didn't anticipate any issues since all programs that work on Windows 7/8 were supposed to work on Windows 10 as well. So I upgraded my Windows 7 laptop to Windows 10 today. Hi all! It's been a while! I've been so busy I just haven't had time to get on here. ![]()
