![]() ![]() One of the inter-room cables was hooked up from the 16 port switch to a Flex located in the other room (USW-Flex, NOT the flex mini). ![]() So, our solution was thus: PoE switch was connected to 5 of the APs via their respective cables. There were also 2 cables running from our cupboard to this other room. This was all fine, until we discovered that 2 of the cables we'd used for APs actually ended up in a room at the other end of the building. An electrician ran the network cables in, with the majority going into a cupboard at one end (where we were going to situate a comms cab and the Ubiquiti 16 port PoE switch (150W). Recently did a wifi install at a customer property (a pub in the UK). Bit of a weird one, so i'll try and explain the layout as best I can and why we opted for the setup we did. ![]()
